For ~spankwagon as fanart for his comic, Culture Shock. Drawn for Multi-Art Exchange. I don't generally repeat characters when I draw for artists multiple times, but I can't help it -- Brooke is just too cute.

So the sequence in Culture Shock where Dana checks Brooke into a psychiatric ward, and then has to go rescue her when she realizes that Brooke wasn't making up all the stuff about being an elven healer. Anyway, the image of Brooke interacting with all the other patients made me somehow decide that 'hospital volunteer' might be a good way to get her used to the Modern Era. Hence, this picture.

Maybe I should have drawn the old 'candy striper' pinafore, but my ability to Google made me realize that would be anachronistic. (Yes, I know... it's a 14th century elf, I could have probably fudged a couple of decades. So sue me.)

This was drawn in Winter 09, and I kind of hate the background now -- it was a good attempt, but it's too blobby and contrasts too much with Brooke. Next time, I do a real background.
