=ankewehner's character Thistle. Thistle is a plant sprite that lives in a bonsai garden. Here I drew it taking care of the plants by trimming some of the leaves of the miniature trees. The scissors are patterned after a pair of brass-toned embroidery scissors I own that should be small enough that even a sprite could manage them.
I still can't believe I did that much on the background. Normally I get lazy and take pictures, or look for public domain photos, or use photoshop textures, or otherwise throw something together. I even did one of those mini-waterfall garden fountains. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
