Still [Escaflowne, Van/Celena]

Colored both for the #escafans contest (theme: Romance) and for my friend Yuuo ~unoriginalchaos, inspired by her Van/Celena fic, All the White Horses. I went with a looser, ink and watercolor-y style of color to capture the feel of a snowy morning and tried to keep the color contrast between Celena and Van.

Pose references used: 1 and 2. Also, it was nice that I could put Van in mittens. (Technically Celena is wearing calfskin gloves here, but I didn't have to draw her fingers... and I shouldn't go on about clothing decisions.)
