Melisan's Normal Day

Melisan does do exciting things, such as unearth conspiracies within the Church and fight demons and negotiate delicate treaties. But most of his work is paperwork and telepathically talking to people Back Home who make impossible demands. Or recording such conversations.

Aldea being a magic world of magic, rather than a science world of science, Melisan has a shas crystal lantern instead of a candle or oil lamp. More expensive at first, but no need for fuel. Also, it requires some magic talent to light. Prosperous places can use them as streetlamps though.

I drew this is my small sketchbook -- I'm trying to learn to draw smaller so I can draw more expansive works. Plus, it avoids large bland spaces.
